Caving in the Aveyron and Hérault

This year I went caving again with Luuk and Harm. Our planes were to visit 3 caves in the area. We stayed at a camping near Nant (Aveyron). For our first visit we had an appointment with a speleofriend. When we arrived he was already waiting.

We changed clothes and went into the cave. We passed 2 locked doors and than you have to follow a rope down a 20 meter pitch (alluminium ladder). After a few climbs you enter two chambers with some nice formations.

We walked around the chambers and took some pictures. After 3 hours we went out. Outside we were invited to stay and barbeque with them. We talked about speleo and all our adventures. In the evening we said goodbye en went back to our campsite. The next day we visited a cave in the Hérault. This cave was an easy one with only a few ropes. The entrance was near some ruins. Harm and I spent 4 hours inside. Some passages were difficult to find between all the blocks.
