One week caving in the south of France
After long preparations we arrived in our gite in the Pyrenee Orientales. The next day we had an appointment with Carolien. She was willing to show us a nice part of a big cave in the area. Our visit lasted 8 hours in which we saw a lot of beautiful places.
The next day she showed us another part of the cave. This part was different. It had a lot of special things but I forgot my spare battery for my camera, so I have to go back another time.
The third day we visited a special cave about 1,5 hour drive from our gite. This cave has geometrical crystals.
Before we could enter the cave we had to climb 100 higher on the mountain to reach the entrance.
The last few days we stayed in a gite in L'Argentiere (HĆØrault) to visit some other caves in the area.
