A visit to the Grotte Sainte-Anne in Belgium

Some time ago I visited this cave. It is one of the more beautiful caves of Begium (length 2715 mtr). Recently it has been cleaned bij members of a Belgium speleoclub. The results are very good. It is situated near the village of Tilff (near Liége). The cave has several levels including an active river. During our visit we tried to make photo's of the hidden corners of the cave and the cleaned section. We started in the biggest chamber of the cave Salle des Scouts.

After that we followed the river to the nice section. To enter the chamber you first have to climb (cheminee). The speleothemes look very nice.

Than we follow the river again to the more sportive part of the cave. Her you can traverse from the lower levels to the upper levels (near the 10 mtr pitch). After that we looked at some small eccentrics and then went back to the entrance. The trip was 5 hours. If you take the time this cave will impress you.
